Image of the Vocational Training -research
The attitudes of the youth and the labor market toward the vocational training and know-how were measured in the study by the Ministry of Education. A qualitative in-depth interview of 52 respondents in the capital region, Savonlinna, and Rauma was conducted during the study in the spring of 2007. Additionally, a computer-assisted phone interview was conducted with 900 youth and 100 corporate decision-makers around the country. A broad report, articles were written as well as other communication implemented, based on the study. The material is being used as a foundation for the marketing of the vocational education.
